PSD to jpeg

What is the best programme to convert PSD image to jpeg??

 

Typically, if you end up wuth PSD files (unless you downloaded them) they were created by Adobe Photoshop. What happens if you open any file with Photoshop and edit it (even a little) then go to save it, Adobe automatically selects PSD as the save format, and unless you choose different, you end up with a PSD. If you have Photoshop or Photoshop Elements installed, all you have to do is open the file again and select "save as" but this time choose jpeg.

If you don't have Photoshop installed, I recommend Irfanview (it's free). It's not really a photo editor, but you can open and "save as" all kinds of formats.

Even though its freeware, its one of the few I like so much I send the author $10 every few years, and he lets me know by e-mail when a new version is out. I know I'm not supposed to, but I carefully hide a ten spot inside an envelope and send him cash.
