First off, I posted this in the Games forum and didn't get any responses. So, I thought someone over here might could help me.
    .....
I'm not sure where to ask this question. I'd appreciate it if someone could point me where I can get help fixing my son's PSP. The PSP was working fine until a game was removed and something seems that have broken and now it won't read the disks. It will boot up and appears fine, but when you insert a disk you don't hear a motor running or anything.

My son looked at a friends and he says that when you open the disk door and look inside, there is a black lever on the left that when you push down on it, the glass eye that reads the disk glows. However, nothing spins. It seems like a hardware issue.

I'm a DYI and have taken his PS2 apart many times to clean and would like to fix this.

    Thanks for your help.
