i do not know the issue completely but im pretty sure i can fix it by buying a new psu..

my computer unexpectedly shut down earlier today while i was putting south park on my ipod -.-

no biggie, i cant get power back to my computer though. itll start and everything will light up for about a 10th of a second.. and then turn off.

    are these bad psu symptoms?
im just making sure before i buy a new one..

did you try resetting te CMOS yet? if that doesnt work Im gonna agree with ya about a dead PSU. are there any weird ssmells coming from the computer? (the PSU to be specific) Also check for swollen capacitors and scorch marks to make sure the PSU didnt take anything else with it if it did in fact go out on ya.

Could just be the psu connectors where thay attach to the mobo. Mine did that after I'd moved it. Reseated the connections and it was fine.
