So, going against one of my favorite sayings, "If it isn't broke, don't fix it", I used some canned air to clean my computer.
Now, whenever I try to turn it on, everything turns on and lights up but then turns off right away. Of course the first time it happened I had to keep trying, I tried about 10 times and finally it turned on. The second time took me about 25 tries...and it has been on ever since.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my computer?!?
    Thanks guys

If it's working ok now, you might have got a bit of liquid coming out of the can that went somewhere it shouldn't and has just evaporated, also i always leave a 'puter for a while to cool down before and wait a while after i've used compressed air on it before i switch it on.

If it is still giving you problems then ther is a myriad of other possible causes.

I'd give it a rest for a few hours and see if it is still playing up before you start tweaking :)

~Q~ Thanks for the input, but this has been a problem for over a month with many weeks between trying to turn it on

 Oh well in that case then, i think were gonna need some spec's on your system.

If your not sure how to do this, grab this program... http://majorgeeks.com/Belarc_Advisor_d1385.html it will tell you everything you need to know.

Also would it be possible for you to try a different PSU?

Ok, do you know the wattage of your PSU?

you have got a pretty decent set-up there, somone else may be able to be more specific,
but i reckon you should have a medium/good quality 500+ watt PSU for what you have got at least.
