I am having intermittent reboots. I believe I configured machine to specifications I read about online and by using Thermaltakes PSU Calc here. I have Windows 7 SP1 (fairly fresh install), ATI Drivers 10.2 with CCC and using Crossfire, Eyefinity or 3 monitor setup with an Active Video Display Port adapter. Sometimes it happens under load and sometimes not so much. I upgraded my display drivers prior to coming and posting on the forums so maybe that will help. I did get ATI driver stopped responding a few times (not during a reboot though). Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

I figured I would attach the Print out from the Thermaltake PSU calc.

    Thanks again.

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

    Greetings, Risensoul.

    Try this:

Go to Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings > Advanced > Startup and Recovery settings. Make sure 'Automatically restart' is not checked. Now, when you experience your next crash, you should get a BSOD instead of a restart - try to include any information the screen contains.

I'm not a BlueScreenView expert by any means - there are those here who are, though. If you do crash again, go to the C: > Windows > Minidumps folder, copy those files to the Desktop, zip and upload them as an attachment, and maybe we can get a handle on what's causing your crashes.

I ran some tests after turning doing some of the settings you recommended and was able to make it crash. I have attached the DMP files as a zip file and the summary is posted below. It looks like is being causes by the video driver. I have other times gotten messages telling me that the ATI Radeon driver has stopped responding and the displays come back or it could have been rebooting when the driver didn't start responding again. I appreciate all your help. I was running display drivers 11.2 but have since taken them off after consistent crashes with only one recording a DMP file. I ran BIONIC milkyway@home while I had 11.2 installed and that is how I was getting it to crash as it used both the CPU and both GPUs. I have since gone to XtremeG ATI drivers version 10.10 which doesn't allow me to do the milkway@home processing. So I will have to break down and try and play some games but I am willing to take one for the team :). I am also downloading 3DMark06 as well to let that run with the new drivers.

    FYI:
I uninstalled the 11.2 drivers and then ran Driver Sweeper from 3DGuru before installing the 10.10 drivers.

If you have any ideas let me know. I would like to run the most recent drivers if possible.

HERE is a link the information that was in the DMP file.
