Alright im coming down to the point of finally picking a PSU and it will not be OCZ

I Found a new kind of Zalman PSU but I am unsure because Zalman makes Fans

    Zalman pSU: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=20787

Now this next one I have had my eye on for a long time and I really like it, its funny cause neither company really major in making pSU's But this one is Corssair you know and yes it does have alot of rewards but Im thinking that the Zalman has not gotten a reward because its New.

    Corsair pSU: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=20607

So it may be down to these two till next week comes when I cop one of these suckers.

There's a full review of the Corsair HX620 here: (lots of good clear photos of the Corsair also)

    http://www.jonnyguru.com/PSU/HX620W/

Lots of other reviews of PS's at the above site too, but didn't see any for the Zalman yet. Can't really advise you further, except that I noticed that the Corsair has a five year warranty and didn't see what the warranty on the Zalman is. Not suggesting that you choose by length of the PS warranty, but thought it was worth noting.

Might like to look at the page on the site above with some interesting PS related links:

    http://www.jonnyguru.com/links.html

I was especially interested to see the link to "How to Discover Your Power Supply's Real Manufacturer". Article at that link explains that just because a PS has a particular company's name on it doesn't mean that they actually manufactured it themselves and explains about a code that can be found on PS's intended to be sold in the US that you can look at at the UL website to find out what company actually made the power supply.

    Hope this is some help.

    Isn't this their first PSU:eek:

Well I probably wouldn't buy Zalman, Corsair maybe.

That Corsair has got some good reviews :) the test will be a production model in the Hands of real people.

I'm curious why you have problem with OCZ, their Customer Service is second to none, not to mention some of the best PSU's on the planet
