PSU Wattage?

So here's my (future) desktop:
-Nforce 650i Sli
-Intel Core 2, Quad core Q6600
-Gefore 8800GT 512MB
-500GB SATA 16MB 7200RPM
-2x 2GB PC5300 DDR2 RAM

Problem is, I have no idea what wattage power supply unit to give it.

Can you guys help?

At 100% (peak load), and 40% capacitor ageing.

So it looks as if I should purchase a 500w board for a bit of leeway for OCing that 2.4GHz to maybe 2.8GHz or 3.0GHz.

 

If you want to OC you'll want a 600w.

 

I don't want to do major overclocking, just a tad when and if it needs a boost.

It's too late anyway really, I'm already set on this PC case.

 

Just some food for thought:

A good quality 500W PSU would probably be fine but, at the price level of that case, I doubt you're getting a good quality PSU. Since I'm accustomed to thinking in terms of US$, I have to do a currency conversion, and that case is priced at about 37.2032 USD. I think many forum viewers would agree you ought to spend at least that amount for the PSU alone. And, many computer builders would recommend buying a good quality PSU, even if you buy a case like that, and replace the bundled PSU with a better one.

I'll keep with that case and PSU (the ones I linked to), and if I have any problems I'll upgrade to a better PSU.

As I don't really like the idea of spending vast amounts of money on the PSU and case when I don't necessarily need to.

 

For fifty bucks US you can get a case and a powerful PSU.
