almost all cases that come with a PSU (maybe cept enermax and antec) are all generic.

    It's generic, low quality.
If ya have low end system probably OK or atleast temporary use.
If ya have good to high end system or one that need's lot of juice you should look into Quality brand name PSU
When PSU burn's out it can take hardware with it

Another thought lot's of newer systems/MOBO's need 24 pin main from the PSU so depending on the system you have or even future upgrades ya might want to get 2.0 compliant PSU they have 24 pin & most can be used on 20 pin mobo as 4 pin is detachable

    well heres my whole system

    ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe Mobo

    Gigabyte IDE CD/DVD Combo Drive

4 Thermaltake 80mm fans plus the 2 80mm fans that come with the case

Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM 200GIG IDE Ultra

    OCZ Performance Series 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel

AMD Athlon XP 3000+ Barton 400MHz FSB Socket A

CHAINTECH AV-710 8 (7.1) Channels PCI Interface Sound Card

    CHAINTECH SA6600 Geforce 6600 256MB DDR

and if you think i should get a different PSU I was thinking of this one

Nowadays 300 watt PSU's are bare minimum with most systems. The question I have, is this: Does that 6600 video card have a molex connector on it? If so, you should upgrade your PSU. If it doesn't, you MAY be fine.

I personally have a 3200+ Barton with 1 gig of ram, with a BFG 6800OC (unlocked pipes) and a 350 watt PSU, I have no issues, other then the fact my 120 gig HDD is practically full with system utilities..... :)
