pthreadgc2.dll was not found

    hi there i am getting this error message when i try and run adobe premiere pro now. it says the audio drivers could not load and to reinstall it. i did this but still not working. i read somewhere to uninstall ffds so i did and ran cccleaner but still no go. please help

    Have a read of this, plus wait to see what others have to say:

    Pthreadgc2.dll Not Found

    Note: using registry cleaners and reinstalling windows as suggested in that article is not advised!

    Hi

    Some background info if you dont mind, in

    What Windows Version and Service Pack are you using?
    Do you have a Codec Pack installed, if so what one?
    What version of Adobe Premiere?

    I would try if you have a Codec pack installed to uninstall it then update or re-install Premiere then reboot and try again.

    hi there it is windows XP service pack 3. how do i know if i have a codec pack installed? it is adobe premiere 1.5.
