put your files on the webb?

does anyone know how i can put some of my files on the webb so my friends just can put my ip-number in the ?(were you type the website adresses).

You can host an FTP site on your machine..
grab War-FTP DAEMON from this site..

Hey if you want porbably the best and easiest setup then you should go for this http://www.sharing-file.com/ let me know if you are interested and i will link you to my home computer using this and you can see it running for yourself, it is cool quick and so dam easy to set up.

You can share any file type or size direct to your friends aswell as having a forum with it so you can all chat. It is so good because you can set it up so it is just for you and who you allow..It is a great way for private chats with friends.

Paid server space is so cheap these days you could go for one of those, but if you just need a small server for sharing personal files to friends and maybe a little chat then why spend money every month when you can install this for one small price..Or the free version which is as good anyway.
So let me know i can show you it working.

I found a good one called Mega Upload / www.megaupload.com

Its really good for sharing files over the internet. But you cant put files over 250mb, unless you pay.

I find it really reliable and fast so you might wanna check it out..

Excellent Dave. Just what i want i nice collection..I love to try out new toys. Although for now i ahve settled for the one i orrigonally posted for ease of use and set up but i will be giving these new ones a try.

Halo i have easyphp also on my pc with a forum installed and CMS bridged with it, the same ones i use for my proper .com site, it is great testing software on the home pc before posting and using them on your main website.
