A very perculiar thing is happening to my computer. I have an Intel v.92 internal fax modem and every time I dial and connect to my ISP, my computer reboots, and the KernelfaultCheck is added to my system startup. The reboot happens just when the connection dialog box minimizes to the taskbar.

I have uninstalled the modem drivers, put the modem in a new slot, reinstalled the drivers, but the problem is still happening. I havent installed many programs lately, the only major one to mind is Firefox 1.0 and and a couple of extensions, but I doubt that would be causing the problem.

Can anyone help to rectify this problem? It'd be much appreciated.
