    twinmom1986,
    Have you cleaned it (defragged, maybe run CCleaner to remove bad or broken links in the registry) ?
    What is running on startup?
    What version of Norton because some really hogged up the computer CPU?
    When you open task manager, what is using the most CPUs?
    Is it slow all the time or only when you go on the internet?

    Please answer poldr's queries. :)
    When I saw the links, I posted a WOT report as a warning. I should have posted support as well. :-o
    Just a question, have you installed any new hardware or software?
    Please explain.
    Cheers..

    As I mentioned in the other thread you started, please answer ALL of plodr's questions. Many things can cause a computer to slow down: Processes running when you start up your computer that don't need to is a big one. Also, a lot of people have a problem with Norton slowing their computer down. Was it slow before you installed Norton?

    Please explain what operations are slow! For example answer the below:

    * Is boot up slow?
    * Is shutdown slow?
    * Is browsing/surfing slow?
    * Is downloading slow?
    * Is running any application?
    * Is it also slow in safe boot mode?
    * Also are any process showing in Task Manager to be using a lot of CPU time?
    * Anything else slow?

    Please answer the below. Take your time and feel free to be as explicit as possible. :)

    You mentioned.
    Do you mean, "Norton Internet Security." Was this a trial version- now expired, or recently purchased and installed? Is it currently providing real time protection and auto updating?
    I ask because of this entry/line in your post.
    How Norton (backup) and Toshiba backup have gotten latched is beyond me. :confused
    I'd have expected another Norton startup entry as well.
    In Task manager do you see references to Symantics/Norton? If yes, mention the .exe's and memory usage.

    I'd disable all the rest using CCleaner, temporarily- for diagnostics.

    Cheers..
