ok, i just bought a wester digital 80 gig 7200rpm 8mb cache hard drive(to speed up loading games and stuff a lil bit), and i also bought winxp oem so that i could load windows on it, does it work just to swap out the hd's and then stick the cd in the cd drive and get it running?

of course i would have to stick the cd in the drive before i turn it off with old hd cuz if i dont then swap the hd's and then have no cd in there wont help me nuttin right?

nope, swap out the HDD, start your computer and put the CD in, it should boot off the CD. If not then you need to go into the BIOS and change your boot order to CDrom first.

aiiight, thnx, i already made sure it would boot from cd first :)

and what i like about this is, if you want somethin off the other hard drive you can just put the other one back in :D
