I have been trying to learn Python for years, so I bought Python for dummies on my kindle, they want me to install Anaconda. I can download it just fine but I can't seem to quite get it installed not sure what I'm doing wrong. Help?

What is it doing specifically when you try to install? Strange that you're starting with Anaconda, it appears to be more geared towards the scientific community, but maybe that is your thing.
I like python automation & the No Starch Press books - Automate the Boring Stuff w/ Python myself. The author frequently gives his classes away on Udemy, next time I see an offer I'll pass it along.

I finally got it to work, now on to Python itself. It is kind of like a brick wall if I bang my head against it enough I eventually get through. Thank you.

What I really want from Python is to be able to do simple math or maybe not so simple math and treat it like a programmable calculator. I used to use BASIC like this but basic has kind of gone away as an available language.
