I am wondering whether upgrading my memory form

448mb to 1gb will have a significant performance boost.

    the ram used is 2 boards of 196 + 256 pc 2100,
will adding 2 of 512 at 2100 make much of a difference? i dont think this laptop can handle faster ram as it wasnt recommended
or am i better of buying new laptop with 1gb ram in one block? (with a faster speed)
(i use it for graphics and photo editing)

thanks for any help you could give moi!

p.s i dont know much about memory and stuff

most laptops have integrated video memory making them poor performers as far as graphics is concerned ... getting more RAM might improve performance slightly but you should consider contacting the manufacturer and seeing if you can upgrade the video card instead
