Q about Posting Rules

Hello,

This is a question about bulletin boards in general. Here on Major Geeks, when I'm logged in, the posting rules say:

You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may post attachments
You may edit your posts

But on another site when I'm logged in, the posting rules all say I can NOT do any of the above (even though I *can* edit my profile there). Would this problem be due to a problem with cookies, my browser or something else? The site keeps telling me to confirm my email address (but it doesn't help when I do) and also to enter a new email address, even though I successfully registered with my email address.

Problem solved. It wanted a second email address.
