~Q~ advice on the comodo GUI

~Q~, I was reading a thread where you indicated you had some advice on the COMODO Firewall GUI! I have a few questions about the "Network Security Policy".

 

Thanks DomLuc, but I was more interested in "modifying" policies as opposed to creating policies. When I read the post that I referred too, I noticed ~Q~ had stated,

I tried to block everything but I never received any "alerts" asking me what to do...it just blocked! Since then, I have been able to modify the policy to "ask" instead of just "block", although, there are a few executable's that I'm not sure of why they need internet traffic! (svchost.exe , system , jqsnotify.exe , wmplayer.exe , java.exe & javaw.exe)

I've been reading a lot of "comodo manuals and FAQ's" and I think I got the idea of what's going on, I suppose I just wanted to make sure I had it all set up correctly!

BTW, I did visit PC Flank to run tests on my firewall and was satisfied that in all instances, I was running "stealth"! (I'm assuming that's a good thing!)

Ah, you just turned a light on for me....

that way, I can see what actually makes requests via the pop-up alerts! Because I'm not sure what applications make requests, I can "monitor" those requests this way!

Not only does the firewall go through it's "learning" process, I can "learn" the process as well! Does that make sense?
