Q drive?

I'm not sure where this should go, but I don't believe it's a h/w problem. Anyway, I just did a fresh install with XP on an older build (within 1 year, or so), with a different hard drive, and some changes. I'm not sure if I noticed it when I had an mp3 player hooked up the other day? Anyway, this drive only shows up in "My computer" (with or w/o mp3 player hooked up), and the malware scans seem to be clean. Any ideas? I'm wondering if my mp3 player may have added a drive (back then)? I did notice at one time (back then), that it would not reboot (just hung up). Any ideas? I'll redo the OS again, if need be, but curious if I can get rid of it, without doing that.

Note: If I go to "my computer" right now, it's there. If I go to "computer management" - "disk management", it's not there (even under removeable).

I ran out of time to edit. I have no external drives connected (mp3 player, or thumbdrives). It's just annoying!!

Did you ever install Office 2010 Click to Run? This creates a "Q" drive.

 

Thx, I am using a trial version of office 2010. So, since you mentioned it, I'm sure it's something with that. I didn't notice it before. I've added a link that expains about it, in case anyone else comes along.
