quad core help

    Ok i have a dumb question i just built a quad core system intel q6600 can i pick what core a program runs on and if so how im running winxp pro.

    i guess no one knows my guess is when one core get to busy another core kicks in auto not sure but would like to know.

    open your task manager and right click on a process you want to set affinity for(in the processes tab) a dropdown menu will appear with set affinity listed as an option
