Qualified?

    Okay, well over the past few months, I've been going to http://forums.techyguy.org and I've been viewing their security section. Well, I've been follwoing how they analyze their Hijackthis logs, and I've learned a lot. Well, I'm wondering how I would know if I am qualified enough to help people with their Hijack this logs. Is there some kind of a test online where you can take it to see if you're qualified enough... or?

    No sadly, we all just have to go from past experience and a small bit of googling!

    That is why having a few look over a HJT log is great if one misses something then someone else will pick it up and post then you remember that one you missed and learn so next time you wont miss it.

    Just go for it you will have picked up on the most common nastys to give great advice :)

    Edit : ( geezuz I just re-read that middle passage as I was on phone while typing and it sounds like the babble of a lunatic! )

    yeah, sometimes someone else will recognize an entry that another doesn't ..it's a group effort ;)

    Also, many hands (eyes in this case) make heavy work light!

    The more people pitching in here the easier it becomes for the rest of us. And hand in hand with that (as Kodo and Halo mentioed) we get backup from others.
