Question about a trojan....

I have a PC here and the owner is convinced he has "Trojan.Brisv.A!". I have run scans with SuperAntiSpyware, Malware Bytes, AVG8, Defender, AntiVir, and I'm scanning right now with Symantec's Trojan.Brisv Removal Tool (link: http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2008-071823-1655-99&tabid=1). So far, each scan has come up completely clean except for some cookies and a false positive by AVG on some AT&T software. From the little research I've done, this particular trojan isn't 'smart' enough to avoid detection from 5 different, quality malware scanners.... I'm 95% sure the system is not infected (I'll know for sure after the Symantec tool finishes). Anybody have any thoughts?

That's a good question.... but..... :-o I think he was right rolleyes The Symantic removal tool just finished scanning and it turns out he's been downloading from Limewire and in the "Incomplete" folder are about 10 infected songs. The way I see it, if you steal, you deserve what you get.... don't do the crime if you can't do the time...

(scan log attched for those interested)

So we now know what doesn't detect this trojan!
I might also try an online scan - there are several to choose from if I felt I was infected and nothing seemed to see it.

This is Symantec's name for it...any clue as to what the other's call it? I found a removal tool from 2008 so it seems it has been around for quite awhile; you'd think the other vendors would be able to pick it up.
