question about a virus i got yesterday

    i got a virus threw mysaceIM that seemed to get in threw the email notifacation function & AVG could remove the virus as it was list as an unknown virus(it was called EXPLOIT.WMF with file name value(1)wmf), i removed it on trendmicro & i want to be sure that it stays gone. i just ran another scan & it in fact appears to be gone & i just wanted some feedback from some of you resident geeks. thanks,:)

    Run Windows Update; there are patches for those exploits, and if you don't install them, you'll probably get reinfected with something even NASTIER soon, and you might not be able to remove it so easily. Protect yourself now, or suffer the consequences later...
