question about a yahoo problem

ok i got a weird mess from someone i don't know on my messenger and it said that i was reported as a problem person on yahoo and to fix it i had to click the link and so i did but since then my yahoo account has been locked out does anyone know how to find out what happened and if i can get back in ot my yahoo account i had to open a new yahoo account to try to contact them but i keep getting the same atomatic response email and it is not anything i need please if anyone has any info to help i would appreciate any help!!

A bit late, but so you know for next time, never accept or click on something from a person you don't know.

I suggest you pay a visit to the SPYWARE FORUM and follow their suggestions in the "stickies" to rule out infection.

 

Just as an added "It's too late", whenever I receive an email from someone I don't know, I report it as spam and let Yahoo deal with it.

well i did all that ran the spyware and what not and the message had said it was from yahoo so i didn't think about it and i still can't get into my email account i reported it and i got the same lame atomatic email about thanks for reporting if we need any more info we will contact you it has been 6 days now and still nothing

 

I doubt very much Yahoo would send an email saying you were reported as a problem, then ask you to click a link to fix it.

That is called phising, or a scam and not to be trusted.
