question about bin files in C\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\EventCache

    They gradually store here over time, most will delete but there's usually one that wont cause its being used by a process. It can be deleted in safe mode when that process is terminated. Just what is the event cache? Running XPsp2. Thanks.

    They should only appear when ye do windows updates.
