Does anybody know if Data Access Pages can be used over a network? I've made several pages and have tried putting them on a network drive and the data is not updated from computer to computer, it is only updated on the computer that you save it on. Now if I put something into the database directly that will be viewable on every computer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Avoid DAP like the plague. They are the worst thing MS put into Access. If you want to do it right, use ASP or ASP.NET and host it on small web server (could even be your workstation [Win2000 pro/XP pro] : limited to 10 users though. A full windows server version is unlimted access).

I've already created the Data Access Pages and I don't know how to use ASP or ASP.net. Could I host the Data Access Pages on a small web server?

You can host them from any machine, but they are terribly ineffecient. You WILL have more problems with them and will end up pulling your hair out.

ASP is a script version of VB.. if you know VBA, it will take you about 3 weeks to move into ASP.

Thanks, you wouldn't happen to know anything about Microsoft Internet Information Services would you? Because the other guy that I'm working with (who I barly see and we just leave notes for eachother) said that he was going to try and use that so as users could just type in the ip address of my computer and access the Data Access Pages from there.

    Windows2000/XP
go to control panel -> add/remove -> select to add remove components. Look for Internet Information Services in the list and install it. (requires cd).

For pro versions of 2000/XP you can only have one site at time working and only 10 connections to that site. For server, this is unlimited.

I can re-write the wheel.. but
