Question about OneDrive

Hi, Got windows 8.1 & when I try to add a new folder to Libraries/ Documents it always ends up in OneDrive. Are they the same thing? They sure don't look like it because I have stuff in Libraries/Documents, & then "Documents/Onedrive" is underneath all of them separated by a line. I even tried creating the folder in my external drive, & then moving it, but got the same result.
