Question about P2P software..

Programs like soulseek, Limewire, etc.. is it true that you are 'safe' if you turn up uploading or can they monitor what you are downloading also?

So basically, no way to prevent them from targetting you?

 

There are ways and means to achieve anything if you know how....
Unfortunately, It would be a serious breach of forum policy rules for me to expand on the subject!

What i can say is that the RIAA(recording industry association of america) are currently waging war on the end users of P2P file sharing applications.
They are currently battling in the courts to require the right to force ISP's to reveal the details of their customers download activities.
Not sure if they have been successful or not?
I guess that anyone who participates, is a potential target!

i dont like limewire or soulseek, ive been happy with torrents, i would suggest looking into those.
