Question about performance

MY computer is running very slow today. Everything takes a long time to pop up. Why is that? I cleared all of the spywares. Rise of nations seem to be skippy and 3D mark crashed. I have already scanned for viruses and spyware. So in dxdiag the bouncing white box lags in a window. And for the direct 7,8,9 feature test, I can't see a clear box. I see something very bent and curved changing rapidly. I also got these folders named

in my program files folder. Is that normal?
Games like rise of nations shouldn't lag on a computer like mine at all. And the internet browser is slow too. Thanks.

 

The Ultimate Troubleshooter says nvsvc32.exe is not ok. Is that a driver problem and ca be fixed by reinstalling the driver?

 

I already have version 77.77
Should I install it again? And what do you mean acting as it normally would? What does normally mean?

 

I see. Thanks. But I installed the 77.77 as soon as it was released and all programs ran ok. Only since yesterday did it slow down. The dxdiag's white box that bounces lags a lot.

I guess some websites corrupted my system because I didn't have anti virus installed and only installed it after there was the slowing down problem.

for reinstall, do I have to use driver cleaner? Or can I just install the new driver? Thanks.

 

I have completed the system cleanup according to the link. Now The Ultimate Troubleshooter says that Nvsvc32.exe AND wuauclt.exe are not ok. Why isn't the windows uptade program ok?

 

Somehow I had to install the driver twice. The first time it didn't get installed and I had to do it again. And the NvSvc is still not ok according to the Ultimate Troubleshooter.

 

MY Pcmark 05 score is only 3371.

My system specs:
athlon 64 3200+
geforce 6800GT
1024MB ddr 400
GA K8NS ultra 939

I need to reformat and reinstall windows. I'll get back when I'm finished.
