I am looking at the 7900 GS video card but i was wondering about the requirements:
    Minimum System Requirements

    Pentium 4/Celeron, AMD Athlon
    PCI Express 16x slot
At least 256MB of system memory
    Installation software requires CD-ROM drive
    Windows XP/2000
A minimum recommended 350W system power supply
    A PCI Express compliant motherboard
A PCI Express supplementary power connector
The power supplies are what I am concerned about. What does it mean by supplementary power connector, i am guessing that the 350W power supply is just an extra plug in, but what is the supplementary power connector and how can I find out if I have one? thanks

A PCI Express power connector is a 6-pin connector coming from your power supply. Here is what it looks like:

As for the 350W, you'll need to check the label on the side of your Power Supply and see what it is rated at. 350W is an absolute minimum. If you can post your system specs, we could tell you if your power supply is sufficient.

No, we'll need everything that is attached to your computer... Motherboard, CPU, RAM, Hard drives, CD/DVD Drives, floppy drives, system fans, etc. Basically, anything that draws from the power supply. I don't really know of any good power supply calculators. All the ones I've found don't have the newest processors. (Athlon 64 X2s, and Intel Core 2 Duos) But, if you can post all of your system specs, we can at least give you an idea.

Doing some searching, it looks like your power supply is 300W. Also, it doesn't have the 6 pin PCI-Express power connector. I think it would be wise to upgrade to at least a 400W supply. This will also give you some room for upgrading hard drives or DVD drives. If you want to add something later on you wouldn't need to worry. Something like this should work ($30 after rebate):
