    Hello-every-one.
    I-have-Windows-Vista-and-it-already-came-with-Windows-Defender.-My-question-is-if-it-really-works?-Because-I-always-do-a-full-scan-and-it-never-finds-any-malware.--Then-I-run-Spy-Sweeper-and-it-finds-stuff-that-should-be-removed.--Is-Spy-Sweeper-making-up-stuff-so-I-think-is-working,-or-is-Windows-Defender-not-doing-its-job?

    Thanks,
    Sorry-for-the-dash-in-between-the-words,-is-that-my-space-key-on-my-keyboard-doesn't-work.

New ones are less than $10, used ones are about $5, thrift stores have 'em for $3.

Yes, Defender works. It isn't something I would use as a front line of defense, but it does work and I have seen it stop malware, and remove things when it scans. It's not that great, and I don't recommend running it by itself. I think it's best as a backup or a 3rd line of defense....

    Now,-does-any-one-know-if-Spy-Sweeper-is-any-good?

    Hi

What is Spysweeper finding that Windows Defender is not ( Defender in vista is much better than the one released for XP IMO ) ?

If it is cookies, then these are not spyware or malware and sadly many malware removal applications have an overuse of reporting these as malicious to inflate their scanning capabilities, Defender ignores these cookies as they are not malicious issue.
