Hey folks, I have a question about the EULA of Windows in regards to how many times you can install it. I recently installed the RC1 vista on my computer. Can I use the same windows xp home install disk to install windows on another partition so i can dual boot? Is that ok?

no, as far as i remember, you can't do this, even you can't install this copy of windows on the new made system when the old one is dead.

I thought that was only concerning OEM software? This is a full retail version.

Yes you can install Vista and XP as a dual boot, both are separate licences.

ooh, excuse me, i've messed up, i missed that you installed vista and want to install xp on the same machine, i thought that you want to install two xp's from one installation disk on same machine.
