Question about Yahoo messenger "add request pending"

A client recently sent me an add request.

When I woke up and accepted his request I saw "add request pending" beside his name and he's offline.

Am I seeing this because he's currently offline?

I'm concerned that I wasn't quick enough and he deleted me already, which is why I see the note beside his name even though he added me! :cry

Note: he's using Yahoo as well.

 

when ever he logs back on, the friend will see the notice that you have approved his request and he you will be on this persons friends list. If you continue to see this and your concern continues to grow send this person a friends request from your list, and see if they accept it.
