Question 'bout Ftp

    I'm needing to be able to see hidden files (.htaccess) on my hosting server and I'm using Ipswitch WS_FTP Professional 12.4 (with perpetual license, whatever that means)

    Been searching and so far cannot find how to make this FTP prog show hidden files.

    If anybody knows how to change the settings so this prog can find hidden files, I'd be very thankful!

    You should release protection of the .htaccess file.
    1. Open WS_FTP
    2. Connect
    3. Select the site you wish to modify and right-click on the site
      URL
    4. Properties
    5. Startup tab
    6. Enter -a in the Remote File Mask box
    7. OK to confirm the changes
    You should now have access to hidden when you access that particular site!
