So I thought it would be funny to change the background picture of a co-worker of mine. I did it with a picture tha was perfect, we all got a laugh...hahaha yea yea. So my co-worker changed it back to the one he wanted and we all laughted again.....
To make a long story short when ever he boots his computer after he puts in his password the picture shows up agian intill his desktop shows up.

Anyone know how I could stop this?

Any help would be great !

    Thanks

Did you use Internet Explorer to find and load the desktop image? I've seen dual image loading like that once in a while. Can be cute if you like both images, and the sequence. If so, find and delete the IE Wallpaper image. It should be named "Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp", and should be here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

where <username> is his account name, assuming he's using Windows XP.

    Hey thanks

I am going to give that a try, it was loaded with Firefox on a machine running windows 2000.

Could you also set another picture from the firefox as a background? It might delete the other and replace it with the new one?

Thanks For help, I am trying to fix it before a female co-worker sees it :(

Another funny one is to record your voice using sound recorder or any funny sound save it to the desktop then control panel, sounds and audio devices, sounds scroll down to start windows, browse, click your voice recording- the file on the desktop and save

When you logon your recording will be heard I'll leave it up to you what to say:)

To undo the changes just click default soundsceme

Firefox saves it's desktop image in a different location. Won't be able to check that one 'til I get home tonight. In the mean time, use Firefox again to set a desktop image that's not embarrassing, and at least something more harmless will pop up.

I think Windows 2000 used the same account layout that XP does. It would be the same area, but in "Application Data" folder, find Mozilla, then Firefox. The "Desktop Background.bmp" image should be in there. Delete it and it's history.
