Question on LeechGet Download Mgr.

Has anybody out there in Geek Land tried to use LeechGet Download Manager with Win 98SE, and IE 5.5, SP.2, . LeechGet's home site looks like they lean towards having IE 6.0 installed, I sure would like to get rid of DAP and all of it's adware - this product looks good but just not sure if its compatabile with IE 5.5 - looking forward to some feed back - Thanks

Downloading

xflat, as most of us MG'ers are inveterate tweakers (otherwise we wouldn't be on MG), can I put forward a suggestion. When you, or the others with any post, put forward a recommendation of a download eg., http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2351.html can you also include the software name (and version if possible), for example CyberTweak version 1.2 in this case.

This will save us going to the download post to see what it is and have we already downloaded it in the past.

Thanks for the great work, time and effort you and many others put in with hundreds, some with thousands, of posts. I don't know how you manage the time to do it. Baz

Myself i found DLExpert to be a bit badly translated and lacking in features, but thats just my opinion. I think ive got leechget on my other machine which i use to download big files overnight (in another room so i dont have to try and sleep with my pc on! no mean feat ill tell you!). Works fine.

Other ones to try might be
Download Express
Fresh Download <- nice interface
Star Downloader -< used that for a good while!
