Would having "54% Free Space" (and it varies between 50 & 58%) showing in Windows Disk Defrag be considered "good" on a six+ year-old PC (Dell) w/XP Home Edition, and that has only a 20Gig hard Drive?

    Thanks,

I don't see that as a good or bad option. It just means you are using a little over half your hard drive's capacity. If you start running out of space, you can add a bigger hard drive or slave another one inside the 'puter if it is a desktop, or get one in a USB external box. If you don't need additional storage space, then you would be good.
