Question on video cards (should be easy for vga geeks)

I want to know which card to choose for my old pc i have in my living room. I use it primarily to just surf the web, watch a video and play some older games.
I want to know which one of my two old video cards would have better performance while gaming. I have a "Point of view geforce fx5500" and a "galaxy geforce fx5500"

Stats for the POV geforce fx5500:
Graphics core speed 250 MHz
Memory 256 MB
Memory type DDR2
Memory Speed 266 MHz
Memory bus 128 bit
Interface AGP
Cooling technique: active

Stats for the GALAXY geforce fx5500:
Graphics core speed 270 MHz
Memory 128MB
Memory type DDR2
Memory speed: 332MHz.
Memory bus 128bit.
Interface AGP
Cooling technique: active

So as you can see, the galaxy card has slightly higher speeds, so as i imagine it would be better for gaming?
But the memory is 128mb instead of 256.
So where would i see a decrease in performance because of the lower memory? In your opinion, which is the better card to go with?

 

You would see a decrease in performance for games that use larger amounts of video memory... Even if you posted the games that you play, I wouldn't know which one would be better...

Obviously, the best way would be to test them both. Just plug one of them in and check out the FPS in the games that you like to play. Then test the other... Odds are you could probably wouldn't have to mess with video drivers between the two cards.

My guess is that the one with the faster clock speeds would be slightly better, although probably not noticeable. (i.e. it might be the difference between 60 and 62 fps)
