    im a noob wen it comes 2 pc stuff so bear with me.

    is a 'graphics controller' the same as a graphic card?

    Yes. Graphics controllers built onto motherboards are most often referred to as such. Graphics controllers that are on PCI or AGP or whatever expansion cards are typically referred to as graphics cards.

    ok, thanks do u no if this graphic controller - intel GMA 950, can play Lord of the rings: battle for middle earth 2 ?

    Yes it will play but as mentioned in other threads on similar questions as to onboard graphic controllers ( I take it this PC is a laptop ) it will run as it meets the min spec graphics card list above, but will not play the game with all settings at MAX, to gain smooth gameplay you will have to turn the fancy graphical effects down a few settings.
