Question! Please help... again!

Hi - I just recently got a nice geforce graphics card, and just wanted to push it to the limits in a few games. Just wanted to know what a few things were


Anti - aliasing
Frame rate limiter
MIP Mapping
And what are the hertz for the monitor? I don't know what any of these mean.

I'm just learning

Frame rate limiting is useful when the frames per seconds of a pc are more than what the monitor supports. If u have a monitor running at 60Hz as a refresh rate and u have a pc which has an output of 100fps u will most likely experience something called Tearing.. it looks like the picture is devided when vertically, this occures a lot when u are playin eg. a First Person Shooter and walk along a corridor. v-sync or a frame rate limiter takes reduces the fps output to match ur monitors refreshrate. I think one Hertz is more or less 1fps. It is the Refresh Rate.. 100Hz means that a monitor doesnt flicker i think... anyways this is what i think.. might be wrong tho

Sounds kinda like an ATI card..

have any idea on what it is? 6600? 5200?
