My pc crashed and my roommate bought a laptop with windows xp. My pc had windows vista and came with Snippet Tool; a cut and save pictures type of program. I can find Snippet Tool "how to use" info at Microsoft websites but not where to download it. I want to be careful what I download on this new pc. Anyone have an idea where I can find a reliable source to download Snippet Tool? I am assuming it works with windows xp even though it was a windows vista program, but if not is there another program I should get that takes cutout snapshots from screen display?

The Snipping Tool that comes with Vista cannot be downloaded for XP. I suggest you get Gadwin PrintScreen. It's free for personal use, but not for business use.
