    Hey Guys,
A friend of mine asked me to try to fix his computer(I do not have possession of it, can't get it either.) He just got rid of two Trojan viruses. But now he gets
"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel." He says he gets this with every program he tries to open. He's running Windows Vista. Not sure where to have him look into resolving this issue.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Spock96

Sounds like an exe file association problem. Have him download the exe fix from here, unzip it and right-click the .reg file and select Merge. Then say OK to the warning. That should be it.

I'll send him that direction. Thank you Sach2.
