    hello, i got some stuff thats not sure if i can do it or not...and how...

    1. my new pc got 1gb ram right? the montherboard got 4 ram slot, what im wondering is can i put my old pc 252mb pair of ram card in to the 2open slot? they can mix with the other 2 ram card right? btw the 4slot are 2on each side which is close to each other...if they do can mix...should i put the 2 500mb card on the left side and the 2 252mb one on the other side of 2slot?

    2. its about my old pc harddrive, how can i add it to my new pc? just pull it out and put in my new pc? if not...how?

    1) The RAM cards would have to be compatible with your motherboard, first of all. If they are compatible but run at a lower bus speed than your new motherboard's RAM, then they will slow down the rate that the new memory works, which in effect will slow down your computer as a whole. 1GB of memory is plenty for normal use.

    you don't want to put old "slow" memory with brand new 1gb of ultra fast ddr ram....no you do not want to do that :rolleyes:


    as for the hdd...sure you can do it....as long as you still have *ide* ports on you mobo ;) but i'm sure you have some...
