I would really like to install the new drivers. Only one thing. This is a new computer and my question is that if I replace them and don't like the results can I put the others back? Where do they go when they are removed--recycle bin????

When upgrading Drivers they are written over/uninstalled. I like to have a folder or disk with copies important drivers standing by. XP also offers Driver Roll Back, which allows you to go back to the previous driver (only the last one). This is accessible via Device Manager. Your orginal drivers that shipped with your new PC are located some where on your restore CD's, which driver are do you want to update? You sould also create a Restore Point before upgrading, that will give you another option of going back.
