questions about FAN installment

hey i have a new case and it has 5 fan slots....and i have 4 fans.now, my questions is... how many fans should i put blowing air inside the case and how many fans should i put blowing out of the case...or should i put them all exhaust????...please help im so confused!...lol

the ones in the back should blow out the back and the ones in the front and side[if you have a side fan should blow in

yea..right now i have my side fan blowing air IN and my back fan blowing air OUT, and my front fan blowing air IN....how about my top fan, on top of my case?...in or out?...

 

top should blow out because heat goes up not down or to the side

 

As a rule you should have an equal amout of air blowing into the case, as the amount of air being sucked out.

Important is that you create an airflow route within your case, which is usually air coming in from the front-bottom, and the air goes out at the back top.

if you have a fan on top, then this is ok if it's at the back. if the fan is at the top-front, then it can still suck air out, but you are splitting your airflow into 2 lines about in the centre of your case, which is still ok but some cool air that will come from the front-bottom will be sucked out before it is going to the cpu area, most probably.

i think you only need a top-front fan if you have 2 front bottom fans blowing air in the case, to level the air pressure inside the case and help the back fan getting rid of the hot air.
