    Hi,

I just put IE7 on my computer, and have a few questions.

    First is tabbed browsing.

Is it possible to have a new tab open to a home page? Like every time I open a new tab it opens to Google? If not, it sure should be able to do that.

Second is I chose an option to have webpages be 'clearer'. I don't want this anymore, I like the way the text was before. I'm looking for whatever option this is to turn it back, but haven't found it yet.

    Any help?

    Thanks.

Yes, fist be sure you have the option enabled. In IE7, on the menu bar click Tools > Internet Options. Next, under the General Tab, near the bottom under "Tabs", click the button "Settings". From the top, seventh box down, be sure the "Open home page for the new tabs instead of a blank page" is checked. Click OK and exit IE, you should now have your homepage.

To disable ClearType, from the menu bar click Tools > Internet Options > Under the Advanced Tab, scroll down to "Multimedia" and uncheck the first box "Always use ClearType for HTML". Click ok and exit IE, it should now be disabled.

    Yes Yes Yes.

I probably never would have found those, except by accident. Thanks so much.

    :)
