I have Windows 7 - 64 bit as an OS. I was examining my system the other day and decided to uncheck Apple Push and Quick Time from the Startup menu since I do not use Apple devices (see attached screen shot). When I rebooted, I noticed some changes in the desktop. Although the icons and background wallpaper didn't change, the desktop border color had changed from light blue to purple and there is a thick border around the pop-up when I click on "show hidden icons" in the Systray. Other borders around pop-ups also changed color, like in the startup menu also used to be light blue, now it's light green (see other attachment).

In addition, when looking in the device manager, there was an exclamation point in a yellow triangle next to the OWNER-PC icon. On looking at the components, the exclamation point was next to an item termed Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface. I uninstalled that and the exclamation point went away.

Why did unchecking items from the Startup menu change the color scheme? Was it okay to delete TTPI? Have I done anything I shouldn't have?
