In article 2> Under the heading Getting Prepared in paragraph 2 it is stated to "look for exactly the following service names(no others). My services do state these in a similiar fashion but not Exactly, do I disable the four listed below?
> NT LM Security Support Provider
> Workstation
>Remote Procedure Call(RPC)
>Remote Procedure Call Locator(RPC)

Question:
Under the heading KEEPING YOUR COMPUTER SAFE AND SECURE: paragraph 2 makes a referrence for removing Microsoft Java. It states that if unistalled MIE will not be able to download files from the WWW. Does downloading Java Sun basically take the place of Microsoft VM?

Last Question:
I have installed SP2, are all of the suggestions in the article, still urged, are there any changes because of SP2?

NO - Do not disable these unless you are suffering from About:Blank or Home Search hijack.

YES it does.

I'm not sure what you mean. If you are trying to root out some malware, then you should follow the Tutorial carefully - whether you have SP2 or not.
