    Hi guys,

Im sick of all the cables in my house! Im looking for a solution, which I think ive found, but I need a few more details before I proceed.

Firstly, for online gaming will wireless be a problem? I read on another forum that people had problems.

Will I still be getting 15-30ms pings?

Im not really worried about the data transfer rate, just for NTL cable of 1 meg.

Any questions / comments / suggestions would be great, especially from anyone with a wireless network at home.

    Regards,

    Hi,
I recently went wireless and it depends on your needs\setup. For example, I bought Linksys Wireless-G and the main computer (mine) is hooked into the network itself, so theres no problems. My other 2 computers are wireless and in the same room within 12 feet. They have no problem with the internet, but dont play games, so I suspect they would if pin was important. The farther away you move a gaming computer, the weaker and less stable the signal will be and that will reflect in your ping. So, if the main pc is the gaming machine, you wont have a problem.
