Quick Microsoft Excel Question...

    ANHEDONIC Will Title For Food

    I have to make a small spread sheet and basically i need to know how to get everything inside an entire cell... When i enter a phrase or sentence that's too long it just intrudes into the other cells as you can see from the screenshot i've attached... thanks for your time.... using Office 2000

    In older versions of Excel, it would be: Right Click cell. Choose Format Cells. Choose Alignment tab. Check Wrap Text under Text Control. Ought to hold true in 2000, or be similar, I would think.

    In Format Cells there is a 'Wrap Text' option, and you can use Alt-Enter to tell it where to wrap.

    thanks for the info Doug... also, how would i make it so the spreadsheet prints out longways (vertically) instead of horizontally...

    In Print Setup switch from Landscape to Portrait mode (or vice-versa).
