I just recently got a new job, and I want to be able to view my gmail account on both my home computer and work computer using MS Outlook. The problem I'm having is that the mailboxes aren't synced. I will check my email at work and when i get home, the ones i got in my inbox at work will not show up in my home inbox; and vice versa.

I've enabled forwarding of all mail to my pop3 client as well as keeping it in the inbox of gmail.

Is there a setting that i'm overlooking that will allow me to get all new messages in both inboxes regardless of whether or not i've read them on one computer or another?

I sure did. That is how I configured my Gmail in the first place to communicate with Outlook. My problem is between mulciple computers. I want all new messages to come to all computers. I dont ones that I've already seen to not go to another inbox...
Thank you for the reply by the way

I tried clicking the "leave a copy of messages on the server" box in the advanced tab; but nothing seems to work. Any advice?

    Rob,

As far as I know the only way to do what you want to do is to set up Outlook account for that mail to IMAP and not POP3. The problem is that gmail does not support IMAP as of yet, so I see no other way for it to work. On the gmail help they have said they are looking into setting up IMAP, but that would suprise me since using IMAP you never have to go to the web site to sycnornize your email, so you won't see their ads and thus they may be thinking they will loose revenue. I don't know.

The only other thing I can suggest is to find and email server that does support IMAP and have your gmail forwarded to that account until gmail decides to support IMAP.

    Hope this helps,
